Junior Activities

We offer lots of activities for your children at MHYC. During holiday weekends we have such activities as a bounce house and make your own snow cone and more. Our sail camp program is one of the most active in the area with kids from member families and non-member families alike. The camp is a great way for your kids to stay busy over the summer, make new friends and to develop their sailing skills.

Summer is coming!

Mentor Harbor Crow’s Nest Jr. Sailing Summer Program is the experience of a lifetime! We offer up to 5 weeks of incremental sailing lessons that progress each week to more advanced skills. By the end of the summer your sailor will know how to skipper a sailboat and make their way around a race course!

Your child will gain skills for life at Crow's Nest! From water safety to skippering sailboats, our campers learn to be confident and safe in the pool, on the beach and on the open water. We adventure and play on the shores of Lake Erie, learning about local biology and ecology. Most importantly we love to have fun and make new friends in the outdoors!

Camp runs for 5 weeks from 6/9-7/11.

Crow's Nest Sailing Program

Junior Olympics

MHYC hosts the only Junior Olympics regatta between Chicago and the east coast. The junior olympians gather for two days of competitive sailing clinics and a day of competition to put their new knowledge to the test.

Holidays and Special Events

MHYC offers plenty to ensure your kids will love coming to the club. Holiday parties, visits from special guests and the pool will ensure that MHYC is their favorite place year round.
