Sail Race is for anyone who enjoys a little friendly competition on the water. Club Races are scheduled for Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. There are also two holiday Mini Regattas, a Fourth of July Fish & Iron Race to Grand River and back, and the Treuhaft Race which pits club fleets such as Power, Cruise, Juniors, Women, and Commodores against each other. There is an award banquet in the Fall to celebrate the season's accomplishments and fun.

For the more serious racer we offer three invitational events each year. Mentor Regatta is the first of the Cleveland Sailing Association (CSA) season. This Regatta is so much more than the racing though. The festivities that accompany the event involve the entire club as well as visiting boaters and their families. This year is the 75th Anniversary of the event too so make sure you check out the Regatta Page for more information.

Our second invitational is The Falcon Cup and Sundance Trophy Race. This August race starts out in Rocky River (Cleveland Yachting Club) and ends in Mentor for one of the biggest parties of the year.

Finaly, The Indigo Race is a long distance night race from Mentor to the crib and back to Mentor. A classic for the skilled sailor.

And, if you just didn't get enough racing when the regular season ends, you just might want to try frostbiting.
