Two Club networks will display in your device's list of networks: "MHYC Open" and "Members". "MHYC Open" is an open network that does not require a password to access. This network is not encrypted and the speed is degraded and is intended for our banquet guests, guests, and vendors needing internet access for email and other low bandwidth uses. As a member, if you connect to this open network, your web browser will advise you of this with a friendly MHYC banner page. If you are on campus you can check the status of your connection here.
The "Members" network is encrypted using current industry standards, has no speed limit, and does require a password which you can obtain from your neighbors, Gas Dock, or Office Staff. As a member you are encouraged to use this protected, high speed network, if you have any difficulty accessing the wireless network please don't hesitate to request assistance. This is our internet access, funded by a handful of fellow members for everyone to enjoy, please do not share the password with non members. The open network should be suitable for most of our friends and guests.
